Condo hotel buyers can get residency when they register
their condo hotel unit with the Dubai Land Department
upon completion. Essentially, that's means buyers receive
residency when they receive the key to their apartment.

Is residency provided only to the owner's name on the
contract or does it apply to family? In other words,
if I'm the owner, would it apply to only me, or can
it include my wife and children by default?
A.
It can include your immediate family, meaning your wife
and children.
